Serving God.

Never be lacking in zeal, but keep your spiritual fervor, serving the Lord.
— Romans 12:11

As we step into the second month of the year, we are als stepping into another realm of service. Working with more and more people, we are learning what Paul wrote in Romans 12.

Never be lacking in zeal

We have now been working here for half a year. To be working here in the capacity that we are is an absolute miracle. A miracle that we get to serve our God. A miracle that we get to work in a church for this land. With God's wisdom we are learning to use our time in the best of ways serving Him through the vision of this church. It can be dampening sometimes to have to say no to several things, but it's often when we say "no" to the things that are not our tasks or calling, that God seems to be able to use us more consistently. There have been many moments where doubt has tried to take its place in our heads and hearts, but we have constantly fought it of with God's truth.

Our Zeal in serving Jesus is something we treasure and hold in high regard as we have experienced that the devil often tries to snatch it away from us through  circumstantial difficulties. It is however a daily battle that we can win, if we depend on God's Spirit and Truth.

Keep Your Spiritual Fervor

We go through ups and downs like every other person, but can see with hindsight how God's grace has constantly overflowed in our personal and ministry lives. As you all know we have been praying for an apartment for about 4 months now, but two weeks ago we were blessed with a car. We are now working on getting our license, and we pray that God's provision and protection is over us through it all.

We have had the privilege of meeting two people with a spiritual fervor quite unlike any other.

Our first german to be doing The Core in Singapore. We are constantly praying for her, that the doors are open for her.

We have known her since the first time we started working in the cafe, and her heart for the people and the love that she gives to others is truly a sign of God encountering her daily. We are excited to se all that God is about to do in her life.

Susi Pauleit

The first student to do The Core in german. Susi and her husband have opened their doors to house us since we arrived here in August. She is a mother of a 6 year old boy, and is hungry to know The Holy Spirit in deeper ways.

Riccardo and I, are so grateful to have a roof over our heads, and this woman and her husband have been the most generous people. From January 2018 this year we are so thankful to be able to give what we have learnt to her. It was and still is sometimes challenging to teach in the German language some concepts that are alien to this culture, but God's wisdom and grace is all we depend on. We start with worship and do the classes, and we ask that you pray with us for The Holy Spirit to reveal himself to all those that are hungry.

Serving The Lord

We currently run the Cafe, the Outreach ministry and the Men's Ministry in the church and are involved in a couple of creative projects from the church. We take one step at a time, praying through every circumstance that our actions please God and honor Him.

We take this time to say thank you to all those who pray for us. God is our Provider and Protector and we are grateful to Steven and Barbara Nicaud for laying deep foundations in us.

We miss you all back home and are praying for you.

Liebe Gruße,
